1) How do I make an order?

1) How do I make an order?

 

1) Simply click on 'ORDER' above, fill in your details and press 'Submit Form'.

2) I will then let you know about stock availability (as many items are one-offs) .

3) I will e-mail you an invoice.

4) You will then be able to pay securely online by credit or debit card.

5) You can also pay using PayPal,

or you can set up a new account with them if you don't already have one.

 If you would prefer to pay by cheque

please let me know in the 'Comments' box on the Order Form.

Once I have e-mailed you regarding the final cost of your order you can

pop a cheque in the post to me (details can be found on the Order Form).

 Please let me know if you would like

more of one particular item as most pieces are one-offs.

 

2) Can you send my order to a different address

as it is a gift for someone?

Yes, you can enter all the extra details in the 'Comments' box

at the bottom of the order form and the receipt will be sent separately to you.

 

3) I need my order to arrive by a certain date

 

Let me know the details by entering them in the 'Comments' box

at the bottom of the order form and I will do my best to assist.

 

4) I would like to buy a Gift Voucher

 

Simply click on the 'Gift Vouchers' link in the left column and follow the details.

 

5) What payment options are there?

 

You can pay securely online by credit or debit card.

You can also pay using PayPal, or you can

set up a new account with them if you don't already have one.

 If you would prefer to pay by cheque

please let me know in the 'Comments' box on the Order Form.

6) Is paying online secure?

 

 Yes. PayPal uses SSL technology to keep your information safe.

In addition, when you send a payment using PayPal, the recipient won't receive sensitive financial information like your credit card or bank account number.

This way, you don't have to worry about paying people you don't know.

 

7) Can I pay by cheque?

 

 Yes, If you would prefer to pay by cheque

please let me know in the 'Comments' box on the Order Form.

Once I have e-mailed you regarding the final cost of your order you can

pop a cheque in the post to me (details can be found on the 'Contact' page).

 

8) Will you be adding a shopping cart to this site in the near future?

 

Possibly, but my priority was to get the website up and running

and see how the existing system worked.

You can still pay securely online but rather than click to add the items into your shopping cart you have to type them in manually on the order form.

At least this way I can let you know of the availability of an item before you pay for it whereas with a shopping cart I would also have to have an inventory

(as many of the jewellery items are one-offs)

to make sure the same item is not sold twice over

before I have had time to remove it from the site!

This all costs a fair amount of money and time to prepare

so at the moment I will just see how things go!

I would appreciate any of your comments on this subject though!

 

9) Will vat be added to my order?

 

No, Aurora Designer Jewellery is not vat registered.

 

10) What are the delivery charges?

 

I prefer to send your order via Royal Mail

     £1.90 if order is £40 or less (Recorded delivery signed for) 

  £3.90 if order is above £40 (next day Special Delivery signed for)

FREE on orders over £100

 

11) How will my items be packaged?

 

Your jewellery will arrive beautifully gift wrapped.

(You can see a photograph example at the bottom of the homepage.)

ready to give as a present

or just as a treat for yourself (you know you deserve it!)

This will be sent to you in a secure, strong waterproof mailbag.

 

12) When will I receive my order?

 

I will aim to send orders off within 7 days of payment,

hopefully sooner in many cases.

 

13)Can I return any item?

 

If you are not satisfied with an item for any reason you may return it within 7 days of receipt (You are required to inform me of this by email before you return any item).

 It must be in it's original condition, un-worn and in it's original packaging.

Please also include your original receipt in the package.

You will be offered the choice of a full refund (within 30 days) or an exchange.

Postage will not be refunded unless the item being returned was faulty.

Aurora Designer Jewellery cannot accept responsibility for packages

lost or damaged in transit so please return the package

using the same delivery service as when it was sent to you.

There can be no returns or refunds on earrings (for hygienic reasons)

or any specially commissioned items, unless faulty.

 

14) How can I find out about new items,

special offers, competitions and free gifts?

 

Easy, just click on the free newsletter link in the left hand column

and follow the details.

I will then keep you up to date with everything.

You can cancel your free newsletter subscription at any time

by sending an email with 'Un-subscribe' in the subject line.
I will not release your details to any third party.

 

15)I would like to commission a special piece of jewellery

 

Be even more unique and original...simply click on the

'Commissions and Special Orders' link in the right hand column for full details.

 

16)I would like to host a jewellery party

 

That won't be a problem as long as you don't live too far from me!
